A special day – Sunday 14th September 2014
Marathons already grace the streets of some of the UK’s biggest cities. However, we feel it would be difficult to find a prettier or more appealing UK venue for the 26.2 mile race than the stunning and historic market town of Chesterfield.
Set in the beautiful County of Derbyshire, Chesterfield is graced by appealing architecture and pretty buildings wherever you turn. The centre of the town features cobbled streets and one of Europe’s largest outdoor markets and of course, the famous Crooked Spire!
Whether you choose to run in the Chesterfield & Derbyshire Marathon 2014 because you’re local, you’re a keen runner or a passionate charity fundraiser, the 2014 Chesterfield & Derbyshire Marathon and the town of Chesterfield promise you a warm welcome and a memorable day.
